Yes. Dapt connects the time your crews record in JobTread to payroll in ADP. Dapt is listed on the ADP Marketplace for ADP Workforce Now® and RUN Powered by ADP®, and supports ADP TotalSource®.
Dapt keeps a current record of all time clocked in JobTread, by job and cost code. It puts the right pay rate on each group of hours and calculates overtime. It submits the payroll batch to ADP, and payroll runs as it does today. After payroll, Dapt posts the actual, fully burdened cost of those hours to the job in QuickBooks Online, Xero or your other accounting system.
Nothing is retyped. The job and cost code stay attached to every hour from the field through payroll and back to the job cost report.
Four steps, in the order they happen every pay period.

Dapt sets up the connection with you. Implementations have historically taken two to six weeks, most of it waiting on access to the systems. After go-live your payroll staff run it. Dapt is an ADP Marketplace Platinum partner; the Workforce Now listing is a Marketplace Bestseller rated 4.7 from 23 reviews.
A crew of four works the week on two jobs, and their hours are saved in JobTread against each job and cost code. On Monday the office sees the week grouped by job and cost code, with the right rate on each group and the overtime priced. Dapt submits the batch and ADP runs payroll on Wednesday. On Thursday the actual, fully burdened cost of those hours is on both jobs in QuickBooks, and the total ties to the ADP register.
Yes. When a JobTread job is prevailing wage, the classification and work location travel with the hour, and Dapt produces the federal WH-347, state reports or any other report you require. Certified payroll for JobTread explains the setup.
Yes. Dapt reads each union’s collective bargaining agreement and rate sheets and builds the rules from them: the wage scale for each classification, the fringe benefit contributions, and the overtime and shift rules. You confirm the extracted rates before they go live. When a JobTread job is union work, the classification travels with the hour, the right scale and benefits are applied before payroll, and the fringe is posted to the job with the wages. Union payroll reporting, by project, classification or benefit fund, comes from the same payroll record. A company working under several agreements runs them all through the one setup.
No. Dapt reads every recorded hour. Approval stays in JobTread for supervisors; it does not gate payroll.
Yes. Most JobTread contractors on ADP run QuickBooks Online for accounting. Dapt posts the burdened labor cost to the customer (job or project), class and service item in QuickBooks from the same payroll. Dapt also supports Xero and many other accounting systems.
