Integrated Solutions for Project-Driven Businesses

Disconnected systems NEGATIVELY impact PROFITABILITY, invite manual entry errors, and trigger costly compliance penalties.

Integrate

Seamlessly link your existing time-tracking, accounting, and payroll platforms into a single, unified ecosystem.

Synchronize

Data flows continuously and securely between systems, keeping information up to date and integrated.

Automate

Instantly handle complex labor allocations, variable union rates, and certified payroll compliance rules during every data transfer.

We are focused on solutions to address:

Certified Payroll

Dapt automates your certified reporting process completely removing administrative overhead while preventing human errors and costly audit risks.

Job Costing

We provide automated allocation of all labor, material, and overhead costs directly to specific projects, delivering real-time insights into true project profitability.

JobTread Integration

Dapt connects JobTread to payroll, accounting, sales, and marketing tools. This automation removes administrative bottlenecks, prevents double-entry errors, and provides real-time insight into project performance.

Union Reporting

Dapt calculates prevailing wages, fringes, and union dues to generate audit-ready reports like WH-347s and LCPtracker. This eliminates manual tracking, saving hours of work and preventing costly compliance penalties.

Our Mission

Integrated Systems, Real-Time Insights

For project-driven organizations, scaling shouldn't mean drowning in manual tracking. Dapt eliminates the chaos of disconnected systems, from complex union rules to certified payroll, by transforming fragmented data into your most powerful asset. We empower businesses with the real-time financial clarity needed to slash operational complexity, protect margins, and improve profitability.

Jim Keeney

Founder

Jim founded Dapt in 2020 to solve a problem he saw repeatedly in project-based businesses: payroll, time tracking, and accounting systems that don't talk to each other, leaving owners without a clear picture of what each job actually costs. He brings more than 30 years of experience implementing technology to elevate businesses, including over 15 years building cloud solutions.

Since founding the company, Jim has grown Dapt from its first customer, a Pacific Northwest fire sprinkler contractor, into a platform serving hundreds of project-based businesses across construction and the trades, with solutions available on ADP Marketplace and integrations spanning ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, and JobTread.

Before Dapt, Jim's career spanned industries: he served as a technology lead at MissionSquare Retirement (formerly ICMA-RC), led technology for grassroots mobilization at the Edison Electric Institute, and worked as a Digital Strategy Consultant at Navigation Arts. He is the author of Dapt's Payroll Accounting Guide and writes and speaks regularly on payroll accounting, job costing, and labor cost visibility. Jim holds a BA in English from the University of Chicago and an MS in Management for Organizational Effectiveness from Marymount University.
